"By taking a long and thoughtful look at what God has created, people have always been able to see what their eyes as such can't see: eternal power, for instance, and the mystery of his divine being.  So nobody has a good excuse."

About Us

We are a US based IRS 501(c)3 charitable non-profit organization. We are completely volunteer operated.  Our name comes from the Bible verse Romans 1:20 which says "By taking a long and thoughtful look at what God has created, people have always been able to see what their eyes as such can't see: eternal power, for instance, and the mystery of his divine being. So nobody has a good excuse." (The Message)

We focus on making a direct difference in people's lives through serving and connecting them in these three ways:

1. Serving widows and orphans, as they are often the weakest member of any society.  Our initial focus is in the Zambian, Africa bush where we are building an orphanage for AIDS and other orphans.  We enlist widowed women in a win/win relationship.  Our hope is that Americans will go, serve, love the Africans and be changed by the experience.

2. Bringing people into a deep connection with the natural world.  In our increasingly urban tech-focused world we are becoming disconnected from our home, from other living things and from each other. Healing these relationships begins with a growing awareness of the intricate web of life we are part of and ends with healthy people and communities. We prepare ourselves to love each other through understanding our radical unity with the rest of Creation.

3. Cultural exchange and historical travel. An important and difficult step in connecting people is facilitated by experiencing life and serving people in different cultures and religions. These experiences could be anywhere in the world. Americans and Christians often have little first-hand experience with the European and Middle Eastern history that they have been shaped by. Regular trips will be planned to Europe, Israel, Turkey, Egypt and other places foundational to the Judeo-Christian and Western traditions to look for a deeper sense of understanding, identity and purpose in a global sense.
